It's been a while.....

Our Dearest Rorrie,

It has been a while since I wrote to you on this blog. I have been trying to distance myself from the rush of rumors and the anxiety of the wait. It works some days and doesn't work other days. I am still sending kisses in the wind for you constantly. Christmas and Thanksgiving were hard this year knowing that another set will pass before we see you. We are now hoping that two more will not pass before you join our family.

Your Jie-Jie is getting bigger by the day. We have found a preschool for her to attend in the fall, Starksboro Co-op Preschool. She and you brother visited with BaBa on their open house and loved it. I haven't seen it yet. Elrik is gowing up fast too... he has begun to use the potty more frequently! Yeah for MaMa!! He has seemed to be biting more lately. He bit my arm a few weeks ago and then your sister just the other day. He was pretty upset with MaMa when she took away ALL his privileges.

We are looking at going back to Disney in December this year. The government is giving us back a economic incentive rebate and wants everyone to spend it in the economy! And I think we will be happy to help out by spending in on a trip to Disney. This time we will be going with just the four of us... no other family to try and talk into going. We will take our time this year and not try to stretch the day so long... and maybe we will get to go to Mickey's X'mas party!!!

So China has still not finished December 2005 families yet. They are close and we are all expecting that it will happen with the matches due to arrive in early March 2008. So the wait time is over 2 years and I just can't see us getting matched before May 2009.... and maybe not even until 2010! I hope and pray that it is before the end of 2009. We would love to get home before X'mas 2009!

Your Nona & Zia have a birthday in March. We are getting together on Saturday night for Zia and then on 3/12 for Nona. March 12th is also Elrik's 1/2 birthday so we are going to start celebrating that date for him as a second celebration each year. All our children will have either birthday celebration but Kassidy and you will also get a Gottcha Day celebration. So we wanted to have a separate extra celebration each year for you brother too. So Nona is happy to share her birthday with Elrik! MaMa and BaBa are both taking the day off. We are going to go to the playzone at the mall for the day time and then drive down to Nona's house for supper. We are going to take Nona and Elrik out for dinner.

Friends of ours are expecting another baby, Mary & Pete J. They have two daughters now (one is in the same class as Kassidy) and I think they are hoping for a boy! They are expecting the baby to be born in September (the same month as Kassidy & Elrik). I am so happy for them! Who knows maybe you two will be in the same class as well!

Easter is coming up soon. It is early this year, so there will probably be snow on the ground and we won't be searching for Easter Eggs outside this year. I think we are going to go down to Nona's house for the day. So we will have to tell the Easter Bunny to deliver the treats down there!

So that is about it for the night. I miss you. I really wish you were in my arms this evening. I have been searching for more poems to included here. So here is one:
