Bees in our home!!

AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!! We have carpenter bees in our house and they are coming into your BaBa's office and our closet! Your MaMa is terrified of bees. I mean TERRIFIED of bees!! We have someone coming out to the house to spray tomorrow - $350 dollars later! Holy Cow!! The treatment will kill the cluster flies too.. but that is a horrible chunk just before our trip to Disney. Today has not been a very good day!

Your BaBa is getting ready for some test tomorrow. Nothing serious just the normal ones but since he turned 50 it will be a new set of test and he will have to take the day off tomorrow. We will take him in to Porter Hospital for the test and pick him up a couple hours later. Zia will be coming down after she gets out of work tomorrow so she can help with the kids. It was great that Zia said she would come down and help.

Grandma (Gammy) Sears will be moving into an Assisted Living home before we go to Disney. She is just not able to take care of herself with her Alzheimer's. She can get around okay but she can't remember to take her medicines. She will be in a room of her own and the nurses will give her the medicines and she will go down to the cafeteria for her meals. This will make things much easier for YeYe since none of his siblings are much help.

We only have 11 days before we go to Disney. I can't wait!! I spent Sunday a couple weeks ago packing everything I could (like clothes & toiletries.. etch) and this Saturday I hope to pack everything else I can - like the food, tickets. I can't pack the camera & batteries until we are just ready to go... so I can keep them charged! I still need to buy our Sea World tickets and order our Disney Passporter Photo CD.

We don't know if the next batch of referrals are on the way or not... probably but we don't know the cut off. It appears that there is MUCH chatter about CCAA making matches all the way into January 2006 but NOT mailing the referrals. Maybe they have hit the quota for the year and are matching more now for next year to help with the "anticipated" speed up to 15 days per match group starting in January 2008. I only hope and pray that is the case. If they can finish December 2005 by January 2008 and then match 15 days for LID in Jan & Feb that would be great. But it appears that March is a HUGE month again. So that could be a slow down just waiting to happen.

I still worry that we won't get to meet you.... but some days are better than others. Let's hope the new year bring new hope.

Well my darling.... as I do every night... Here are my Kisses coming to you in the wind.
