One Year Anniversary LID

On May 22, 2007 we marked the anniversary of our LID (log in date) for our Dossier arriving in China. It was a hectic day at home as unfortunately the entire family was sick with a head/chest cold. We mostly spent the day trying to recover. We had hoped to go into town and take BaBa out to lunch, but since he was home sick that day too we just had lunch at home.

We had some good news today. It appears that the USBIC is going to offer a one time free extension on our I-600 approval as long as we renew before it expires in September. So we are going to jump on that!!

We decided this weekend that we are going to take a trip to Walt Disney World in October. We had originally thought we would be taking all 3 children to Mickey's World December 2008 but we are now hoping to be traveling in China at that time. So we are going to go this October (Nona is hoping to go too.. and Yeye will go if he doesn't get drawn for a Moose Permit!!) And then our next trip will be December 2010 with all three of our precious babies and probably Nona and YeYe again.. maybe even Zia (who knows maybe YePow too!)

So today we booked our airfare and reserved the Allstar Movies hotel. Nona is trying to get time off but won't know for maybe a month. YeYe won't know about his Moose permit until the middle of July.

We are still waiting for Natalie & Don to get their Travel Announcement for their new daughter. I would tell you her name except Natalie hasn't decided on one yet! Ah, that is kinda not true.... she has not decided on the spelling!

So the next batch of matches are due soon and it has been a BIG roller coaster ride on the cut off date for this group. At first it was speculated that it was going to be a BIG batch and get through the 15th of November! But now it appears that November 7th or 8th will be the cut off date - only 6-7 days. CCAA indicated that there is about 3000 dossier in November 2005 but that they are trying to work through the end of 2005 as quickly as possible. But that they expect the wait easily reach 24 months and 3 years is certainly possible.
