Current Matches and wait times

I just posted two previous blog entries from another blog that I decided to merge into this one. Honestly I had started it and could not find it again, hence this one.

So as you read the order of the entries they are out of order! Today we are waiting for travel dates for Natalie's family. They got their match for Elliana about 4 weeks ago now! She is too cute for words! And we are waiting to find out the next cut off date for matches. It looks like November 2 - November 7, 2006 will be next.

Obviously we will not be traveling in Summer of 2007 to China, and we are not even going to travel Summer 2008. We were hoping to travel before the end of 2008 but with the continuing slowdown we worry it will be Summer 2009! The last two batches have been 2 days and 5 days and November 2005 is the LARGEST month ever for Log in dates (LID) So we are hoping CCAA will make it through November in 4-5 months.

The wait has many people depressed, frustrated and feeling helpless. We are trying to wait patiently, but some days are harder than others. Today your YeYe put in our countertop in the new kitchen... it went okay - not great but okay. So soon I will be able to get the kitchen put back together and maybe finish clearing out BaBa's old office so the kid's playroom can be finished!

We have decided to take a trip to Mickey's World in Florida this October. We had been hoping to go December 2008 when you were home with us. Now if we are lucky we will be in China meeting you! So we are hoping to travel again to Walt Disney World (aka Mickey's World) now in December 2010 when you are home! Nona is planning on coming with us and YeYe will go only if he doesn't get a Moose permit for NH or VT.

I am hoping that planning this trip will give us a break in the waiting. We have been in limbo for family vacations not knowing when things will work out with CCAA and now since it is plainly obvious that we are not traveling this year we thought the family needed this vacation together. So as the planning comes along and the trip unfolds I will try to post updates so someday when you look at the pictures you will have your own story to read about during our Mickey trip.

It is getting late, and MaMa is at work. So I am going to say goodnight and blow my kiss to you out on the wind. May you be safe in the world.

Forever and Always your MaMa!
